I have a love of vintage cars, where I always think about the different people and stories that the car has touched.

Like its inhabitants, the architecture of the five boroughs of New York can be from all over the world.  With the iron balcony, this building feels like it could be spotted in the streets of Paris.

03.13.13: Kinky Boots

For the last 9 years that I have lived in New York, I have said I was going to buy rain boots. A serious necessity in the puddle-addled city. And finally, I did!

This building in Chicago will forever be in my mind as the building from Adventures in Babysitting, where the girl with the Thor helmet slid down the side.

The pure joy of this kid’s face while enjoying his huge bowl of noodles is priceless.  Everyone should have this much happiness in their life.

Besides looking to Rocky for inspiration when I am running the stairs of Ft. Greene Park, I also look to this eagle for an extra boost of inspiration.

With the current weather situation, I will take any taste of the tropics, even if it is just a plant whose orange leaves remind me of more balmy weather.  Even if the leaves are orange because the plant has died.
